HeartCaring® is powered by the Spirit Health Group® and activated by U.S. Hospitals that ascribe to the highest standards of excellence in women’s health, education, and community outreach; with educational support from the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) The Heart Truth, the Vascular Disease Foundation, Peripheral Arterial Disease (P.A.D.) Coalition and the Venous Disease Coalition.
“Your Heart is in Your Hands” reflects the united front of hospitals, primary care physicians, other entry-point providers, cardiologists and consumers working together to prevent and treat cardiovascular diseases and conditions in high-risk, under-diagnosed populations like women.
Through conversations with their primary healthcare clinician, HeartCaring inspires women to care about the leading killer of Americans: cardiovascular disease, stroke, and P.A.D. Across the country, 40 HeartCaring hospitals give women opportunities to take action for their health and facilitate patient follow-up through screenings, diagnostics, and treatment.
Cumulative Impact Across the United States

- Clinician and patient dialogue in the exam room about risks and healthy choices is further supported by HeartCaring evidence-based patient education materials.
